- 8087 SUPPORT AND OTHER OPTIONS
-
- Your PC-Style program disk contains three versions of
- PC-Style. Most people will use the standard version, which
- is PCSTYLE.COM. You do have two other options when it comes
- to using PC-Style. They are:
-
- PCSTY87.COM - This is the version of PC-Style written to
- take advantage of the 8087 math coprocessor
- chip. Most IBM PCs don't have this chip.
- However, if you have added this chip to your
- PC, then this is the version you want to use.
-
- PCSTYLX.COM - If you own a PC that's not very IBM compatible
- then this is the version of PC-Style to use.
- It's designed to work around most problems.
-
- You can use either of those files by just typing in the
- file name (except for the ".COM"). Or, you might want to
- rename either file; retaining the ".COM" extension.
